METAIRIE, LA (WVUE) - Detectives with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Department have identified a suspect wanted for the fatal shooting of a man in Metairie. The incident occurred Sunday around 4:53 a.m. in the 2600 block of Houma Boulevard.
Police say that 29-year-old Glen Doyle Rogers Jr. of Houston TX, who goes by the street name "Pluck" is wanted for the shooting that claimed the life of 31-year-old Irvin Lavour Robinson.
Witnesses tell investigators that Rogers shot Robinson three times in the back inside of the victim's apartment.
An arrest warrant for second degree murder has been issued for Rogers.
