Police release video in Warehouse District hit-and-run that injured pedestrian

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

The NOPD is searching for a truck and its driver that were involved in a hit-and-run Sept. 3 at the intersection of Julia and Magazine streets.

At about 2:25 a.m., NOPD Traffic Division officers responded to a call of a pedestrian being struck by a white pickup truck. Police said the driver of the truck did not stop after striking the victim and fled the scene. Witnesses called police and EMS and remained on scene to provide officers with a description of the vehicle. The victim suffered bodily injury and head trauma.
