Fallen NOPD officer Natasha Hunter to be remembered during halftime show

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

The Abramson Sci Academy Marching Commodores Band will dedicate its halftime performance in honor of fallen N.O.P.D. Officer Natasha Hunter on Thursday (Nov. 3).  
 
The event will take place during the Sci Academy and Eleanor McMain Secondary School football game at Joe W. Brown Park, at 5601 Read Boulevard. 
 
The game starts at 7 p.m. and admission to the game is $5. 
 
Officer Hunter was an 11-year veteran of the New Orleans Police Department who died from injuries sustained in the line of duty on June 7, 2016. 
 
She was a 2001 graduate of Marion Abramson High School.
