NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

New Orleans Police have some unfinished business with a man who was shot in the hand during an altercation on August 31.

Officers are now looking for Lorenzo Henderson, 23, on a drug violation because of what they say they found in his shirt after he was treated for his injury.

Investigators say multiple shots were fired from different weapons that night in the 700 block of Andry Street.

Henderson ended up with a gunshot wound to his left hand.

As EMS worked to help him, they removed the shirt he was wearing. Later, when police inspected that shirt, they found a clear bag that contained what police say was marijuana.

The NOPD now has a drug warrant out for Henderson's arrest.  They're asking anyone with information to contact Fifth District detectives at 504-658-6050 or call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.
