NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - After what seems like an endless summer and very warm fall, we will have a subtle change this weekend. It won't be the big cold front we are hoping for but it will drop temperatures and humidity a bit.
The front should arrive late on Friday with little, if any, rain. There will likely be a few sprinkles or a shower somewhere but not disruptive.
The weekend should see a fair amount of sunshine with comfortable temperatures and humidity.
Big changes may be in store next week. A storm system coming out of the Western United States may bring us our best chance for rain in well over a month. These storms are tricky because they are very hard to time. Right now it appears there could be a pretty good chance for some rain between Tuesday and Thursday of next week.
