NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

After last week's nail-biting victory over the Seattle Seahawks, the New Orleans Saints will be aiming to even their record at 4-4 by defeating another NFC West opponent in the San Francisco 49ers.

In Sunday's 25-20 win over Seattle, the Saints defense allowed only one offensive touchdown.

According to our partners at NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune, the Saints have activated 2016 1st round pick, defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins from IR and placed linebacker James Laurinaitis on injured reserve, ending his season.

Sunday's game will be televised on FOX 8 and kickoff is set for 3:05 p.m. central.
