FBI investigate New Orleans bank robbery

The FBI is looking for a man that robbed the Gulf Coast Bank & Trust located at 201 N. Carrollton Ave. The FBI is looking for a man that robbed the Gulf Coast Bank & Trust located at 201 N. Carrollton Ave.
NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

Federal Investigators are looking for a man that robbed a bank in Mid-City.

It happened at the Gulf Coast Bank & Trust located at 201 N. Carrollton Ave. Officials say at approximately 11:15 a.m. a man entered the bank, approached the counter and verbally demanded money from a teller. The teller complied, and the robber got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

He is described as a black male, approximately 5' 11" - 6' 1" tall, between the ages of late 30's to early 40's, and may have had facial skin discoloration. He was wearing a maroon Alabama baseball hat and a light colored collared shirt.

Anyone with information regarding this bank robbery or other bank robberies is asked to contact the Federal Bureau of Investigation at 504-816-3000 or Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111. The public can visit bankrobbers.fbi.gov for further information on suspects wanted for bank robbery.
