Three arrested for operating meth lab in a boat

ASSUMPTION PARISH, LA (WVUE) -

Assumption Parish deputies arrested three people for operating a meth lab in a boat on Lake Verret.

Investigators say Dwayne Paul Hebert, 39, Latisha Landry, 33, and Kelly Blanchard, 31, were operating the boat Friday night when they were arrested by Assumption deputies, Narcotics agents, and Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries officers.

Hebert is charged with Creation or Operation of a Clandestine Laboratory for the Unlawful Manufacture of Controlled Dangerous Substances, Criminal Trespass, and Simple Burglary.

Landry is charged with Creation or Operation of a Clandestine Laboratory for the Unlawful Manufacture of Controlled Dangerous Substances, Criminal Trespass, Simple Burglary, and a Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on Theft by Fraud Charges.

Blanchard is charged with Creation or Operation of a Clandestine Laboratory for the Unlawful Manufacture of Controlled Dangerous Substances. Deputies say Blanchard was out on bond for a separate meth arrest two weeks prior.
