(WVUE) - Beneficial, but at times torrential, rains fell yesterday, and more could fall today.
A disturbance will continue to move across the region bringing rounds of showers and a few storms. There will be breaks, but there could also be locally heavy downpours in spots. This could lead to street flooding.
The rain will gradually end overnight with drier air once again dominating our weather by tomorrow. A cool surge will also arrive midweek and keep temperatures at or even slightly below normal at times in the upper 60s and low 70s for highs.
A weak storm system may bring clouds back as soon as Sunday with a slight chance for showers early next week.
