NOPD: 2 wanted for multiple armed robberies in Marigny

The NOPD is looking for two males who were seen on surveillance video robbing a couple along Dauphine Street. Police said the subjects are believed to be responsible for multiple armed robberies in the Marigny.   

The most recent incident happened on Nov. 3 at about 10:25 p.m. Both victims were walking in the 2000 block of Dauphine Street when two males approached one of them from behind. One suspect pulled out a silver handgun and demanded money. The second suspect forced the victim to open her purse. He then took cash from her wallet and demanded the other victim’s cellphone. The suspects then ordered both victims to keep walking.

Both suspects were seen on surveillance video entering a silver Pontiac Grand Am.

Both suspects are described as being black males in their late teens or early 20s. Both suspects were also seen wearing black hoodies and blue jeans. One is described as being 6 foot tall weighing about 180 pounds with possibly long hair. The other is described as being 5’10 with a low haircut weighing about 160 pounds.
