TERREBONNE PARISH, LA (WVUE) - On November 16, 2016, Terrebonne Parish deputies and detectives arrested a Thibodaux man who was wanted on multiple felony theft charges in several jurisdictions.
Detectives report they received anonymous information that Donald Jackson was behind a residence in the 300 block of Johnson Ridge Lane in Thibodaux. Deputies and detectives arrived at this location and later said they located Jackson sitting behind the residence that was described by the caller. Upon making contact with Jackson, investigators say he resisted and there was a brief struggle before he was able to be handcuffed.
Jackson, age 48, was arrested on charges including felony theft, issuing worthless checks (felony amounts) and resisting an officer. Jackson remains in the Terrebonne Parish Jail on a $200,000.00 bond. This case remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call TPSO detectives.
