NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The New Orleans Police Department has made an arrest in the shooting death of a man in the Lower Ninth Ward Thursday morning.
New Orleans police arrested 54-year-old Lloyd Henry for shooting and killing a man at a home in the 1300 block of Deslonde Street.
The victim, a 61-year-old man, did not live at the house, according to police.
Detectives learned that the victim and Henry were guests at the home, having attended a gathering there the night before. The two males were involved in a verbal disagreement when Henry retrieved a firearm and shot the victim multiple times.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died.
