WASHINGTON PARISH, LA (WVUE) -

On Saturday, October 22, during the final day of the Washington Parish Free Fair, the Washington Parish Sheriff's Office responded to a burglary in progress on James Creel Road.   The burglars were gone when deputies arrived, but home surveillance video  provided a picture of the vehicle used in the burglary. The video was released to social media and several tips came in identifying a person who drove a vehicle similar to the one depicted in the video. Investigators now identify that person as Entre Dillon, 29, a resident of  Williams Street in Franklinton.

Washington Parish Sheriff's Office detectives were able to trace Dillon to the Biloxi, Mississippi, area where they say he had visited a pawn shop and sold items taken in the James Creel Road burglary.  Warrants were obtained for Dillon's arrest.

Several agencies were on alert for Dillon, including the Sheriff's Office, Franklinton Police Department, St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office and Walthall County, Mississippi, Sheriff's Office.  Finally, Dillon was located by the Louisiana Attorney General's Fugitive Recovery Task Force at a residence in Abita Springs.  He was arrested there and transported to the St. Tammany Parish Jail.

On November 18, Dillon was transported to the Washington Parish Jail where he is being held on charges of contempt of court and two counts of burglary of an inhabited dwelling.  No bond has been set at this time.
