The FBI New Orleans Divisions Violent Crime Task Force and the Kentwood Police Department are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the individual who robbed the First NBC Bank, located at 606 Avenue G in Kentwood.
On Monday, November 21, 2016, at approximately 9:45 a.m., a lone male entered the First NBC Bank, pointed a gun in the air and ordered everyone to the floor, then proceeded to rob the bank. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the robber fled the bank. The robber is described as a black male, approximately 6' 0" – 6' 1", estimated to be late 20s to mid 30s in age, with a medium complexion, and weighing approximately 180 – 200 lbs. He wore a black ski mask, a gray "Frogg Toggs" rain suit, sunglasses, and black gloves.
