NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - A Tulane student was carjacked early Tuesday morning.
Just before 3:15 a.m. a student was stopped at the intersection of Nashville and Claiborne when a vehicle bumped them from behind.
The victim, a 21-year-old female student, told police she got out to investigate the damage.
It was then that three suspects got out of the other car. One of the suspects pushed her to the ground and got into her car, a 2007 Lexus GS350, and drove off.
The other suspects returned to their vehicle and fled the scene toward Carrollton Avenue.
The suspects were described as three black men in their late teens to early 20s driving a gray sedan.
No further information at this time. New Orleans police and the Tulane University police department are investigating the incident.
