Two suspects, person of interest sought in Algiers homicide

ALGIERS, LA (WVUE) -

Arrest warrants have been issued for two suspects and a person of interest New Orleans police believe are responsible for an October shooting in Algiers.

Police are searching for Ageeta Locure, 39, and Ronnie Smith, 22 are suspects are considered suspects and are each sought on one count of second-degree murder.

Police are also searching for Tom Ledet as a person of interest in the case. Ledet is not currently considered a suspect. But police believe he may have information considered pertinent to the investigation.

Just before 2 a.m. on October 12, police responded to a call reporting a shooting. When they arrived, officers found the victim being treated by EMS, as well as numerous spent bullet casings at the scene.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment but later died.
