NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - A former New Orleans police officer faces new charges of rape after he was arrested in September for allegedly sexually assaulting a juvenile family member.
Marcellus White, 46, was rebooked Monday on 16 new counts, including first-degree rape and four counts of second-degree rape, according to Nola.com | The Times-Picayune.
He also faces new charges of sexual battery, molestation of a juvenile, kidnapping, false imprisonment and a weapon charge.
White resigned from the NOPD on Monday.
The 19-year NOPD veteran is accused of raping at least three other boys, as young as 10 years old, in his arrest warrant.
He was a karate instructor and the head of the Beta Club.
