(WVUE) -

After a much milder start to the morning, temperatures will rise into the mid to upper 70s Wednesday afternoon.

A weak cold front will approach the area today possibly bringing a few showers. Don't expect a big cool down, but drier air will slowly build into the area on Thanksgiving Day.

Plan for plenty of sunshine with a few clouds around tomorrow. Temperatures will reach the mid-70s during the afternoon which could feel warm with all those turkeys cooking.

Over the weekend there will be more seasonable temperatures.

Changes begin on Monday with increasing wind and clouds. A stronger cold front arrives on Tuesday with a very good chance of rain and a few storms.
