NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - New Orleans Police are searching for suspects wanted in connection with an Uptown carjacking.
The just after 2:30 a.m. near the intersection of St. Charles and Nashville avenues.
Police say the victim, a 31-year-old woman, was stopped at the light when a silver four-door sedan slammed into the rear bumper of her red Hyundai Elantra.
The victim told police two men got out of the car and jumped into her car.
Two suspects then fled in the victim's car while a second pair fled in the silver four-door sedan.
Police are searching for four college-aged suspects last seen toward Napoleon Avenue on St. Charles Avenue.

There were four other carjackings in New Orleans on Tuesday.
- Just before 6:30 a.m., a 64-year-old man, was leaving his house in the 1700 block of Piety Street. He started his car and went to walk back inside when a suspect, described as a black man, got out of a black Chevy truck driven by a black female.The suspect grabbed him from behind and pushed him to the ground.The suspect then got in the victim’s 2014 gray Chevy Impala and fled northbound on Piety Street.
- Just before 11:20 p.m., a 39-year-old man, was sitting in his car near the intersection of Canal Street and North Carrollton Avenue, when he was approached by two suspects, described as black men between the ages of 18 and 35. One approached from the driver’s side while the other approached from the passenger’s side demanding the victim get out of the car. The suspect on the passenger side got into the car and pointed a gun at the victim. The victim then got out of the car and the other suspect got into the driver’s seat and dragged the victim about 10 feet. The suspects fled in the victim’s 2015 silver Honda Civic, with a Louisiana license plate number ZNX246.
- Just before 11:30 p.m. a 22-year-old woman was inside her car near the intersection of Spain and North Derbigny streets when a suspect, described as a black man, tapped on her window with a gun. The suspect ordered her into the passenger seat as three more suspects, also described as black men, got into the car. As they drove around with the woman, the suspects were involved in a hit and run near Interstate 10 and Airline Highway. The suspects fled the scene, leaving victim and her car at the accident scene.
- A 36-year-old woman was getting out of her car in the 900 block of North Rendon Street when a suspect, described as a young black man, possibly a juvenile, jumped on her back and started punching her, demanding her keys. A neighbor came out of a nearby house and the suspect fled.
