Consumer watchdog warns about some toy dangers

(WVUE) - Shoppers need to be careful when they buy toys online over the holiday shopping season.

Consumer advocates with WashPIRG say some websites are working unload items recalled by the consumer product safety commission.

One of the recalled items they found for sale online was a toy glockenspiel that has high levels of lead paint.

Other recalled toys include a flying gadget that comes with a charging cord that overheats, and pencil cases that have magnets that can be swallowed.
