NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a quadruple shooting in Central City.
Police responded to a call about a shooting around 4:24 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Magnolia Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found four people, three males and one female, suffering from gunshot wounds. One male victim received a gunshot wound to the back and other male suffered a gunshot wound to the thigh. The female victim suffered a gunshot wound to the side. Police did not specify where the third male was shot.
All four victims were transported to a local hospital. Three of the victims were taken by ambulance and one was taken by private conveyance.
According to investigators, there were numerous spent bullet casings found at the intersection of Magnolia St. and Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd and the intersection of Magnolia St. and Felicity Street.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
