Hearing for accused Raising Cane's killer scheduled today

GRETNA, LA (WVUE) -

A pre-trial conference is scheduled Thursday for the man charged in the stabbing death of a Kenner Raising Cane's manager.

Joshua Every is accused of killing 21-year-old Taylor Friloux during a June armed robbery at the Williams Boulevard restaurant.

Every pled not guilty to first-degree murder and armed robbery charges.

Three others are accused of conspiring with Every in the robbery also face charges.

Also charged in the case are:

  • Gregory Donald, Jr., 19, of Kenner, second-degree murder, two counts of armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, false imprisonment with a dangerous weapon, witness intimidation, and obstruction of justice
  • Mark Crocklen, Jr., 25, of LaPlace, second-degree murder, two counts of armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, false imprisonment with a dangerous weapon, witness intimidation, and obstruction of justice
  • Ariana Runner, 22, of Reserve, conspiracy to commit armed robbery and obstruction of justice

Thursday's pre-trial conference takes place at 9 a.m. in Gretna.
