NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - A 60-year-old man injured at least three people when he crashed through the front window of a Lakeview café on Thursday, according to a report from Nola.com | The Times-Picayune.
The driver was in a red Jeep Grand Cherokee when he wrecked into Chateau Café around 12:30 p.m. He suffered a bloody nose, a New Orleans police spokesperson said in the report.
Two people on the scene refused treatment. An employee of the business was taken to the hospital with ankle pain.
A witness told Nola.com the driver was trying to park and may have accidentally backed his Jeep through the glass door.
The café is expected to re-open on Friday.
There is no word on charges.
