NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - The New Orleans Police Department has released the name of a second suspect they believe was involved in a shooting on Tullis Drive in November.
Police say they are searching for 19-year-old John Richey Jr.
Richey and 27-year-old Christopher Butler are accused of shooting a man in the 5900 block of Tullis Dr.
Police received a call about a shooting just after 1 p.m. on November 18. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to University Medical Center for treatment.
According to witnesses, they heard gunshots and then saw the victim running to the location where he collapsed.
An arrest warrant has been issued for both Richey and Butler for attempted second degree murder. Butler is also wanted for intimidating, impeding or injuring witnesses.
