(WVUE) - After a brief break in the very early morning, rain will return and affect some morning commuters.
Stormy conditions will develop this afternoon and evening prompting the SPC to issue a Slight Risk for much of southeast Louisiana.
Damaging winds and heavy rainfall will be the highest threats, but an isolated tornado or hail storm cannot be ruled out. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60s.
Tuesday will feature drier conditions with a few sunny breaks, and Wednesday will have even more sunshine.
Highs will climb to the mid to upper 60s. Plan for windy and cooler conditions Thursday as a front moves through.
It could spark up a few showers. Temperatures will drop to the 20s north of Lake Pontchartrain and 30s on the south shore Thursday night.
Friday, we will struggle to get out of the 40s. The weekend will be milder with highs in the 50s and 60s and a mix of sun and clouds.
