Leonard Fournette will enter 2017 NFL Draft

BATON ROUGE, LA (WVUE) -

In a shock to no one, Leonard Fournette will forgo his senior year and enter the 2017 NFL Draft. Fournette's final game will be against Louisville in the Citrus Bowl on New Year's Eve.

Fournette missed four games this season, including the the regular season finale against Texas A&M.The St. Augustine grad has been fighting an ankle injury most of the 2016 season. He rushed for a then school-record 284-yards against Ole Miss this season. That was broken against the Aggies by Derrius Guice with 285 yards.

Fournette holds the No. 4 spot on LSU's all-time career rushing list with 3,830 yards, just behind Kevin Faulk (4,557), Dalton Hilliard (4,050) and Charles Alexander (4,035).
