NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

The Memphis Grizzlies topped the New Orleans Pelicans 110-108, Monday night, but the Pelicans had their chances and they squandered every one of them away. Twice they led the Grizzlies by three and twice, the Pels allowed the visitors to tie it up with a three.

Marc Gasol had a step-back 3-pointer to send the game into overtime tied at 94. Troy Daniels nailed another triple in overtime to send the game into double-overtime

Gasol led the Grizzlies with a triple-double, 28-points, 11-rebounds and 11-assists. Anthony Davis led the Pelicans with 28-points to go along with 17-rebounds. But, it was Langston Galloway who found himself with the final shot to win it. A three-point attempt that clanked off the back iron. Galloway had made a six three's prior to that miss to finish with a season-high 26-points.

The loss was the Pelicans third-consecutive and they'll next face the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday.
