METAIRIE, LA (WVUE) - Welcome to the fourth quarter of the Saints season where at 5-7, calling their predicament urgent would be an understatement.
"It's a do-or-die situation for all of us," wide receiver Willie Snead said. "I feel like if we want to do everything have set goals for ourselves then we need to do it right now."
Indeed they do. The Saints margin for error is basically non-existent these last four games. They'll enter Sunday's game two games behind Tampa Bay and Atlanta in the NFC South. A loss would make them 5-7 and all but mathematically eliminate them from the postseason.
That's why their goal is simple: win every game from here on out.
"I just feel like we're in a position where we can't make any mistakes," Snead said. "We have to capitalize on everything; we have to be perfect these last
four games. The last three, three out of the four are away games so we definitely have to be perfect."
