Lionel Ritchie, Mariah Carey are heading to New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Lionel Richie and Mariah Carey have announced a huge tour together and they're bringing the show to New Orleans in 2017.

Richie and Carey call it the All The Hits Tour and the show will roll into the Smoothie King Center Thursday, May 18.

This is the first time the two global superstars have toured together. Between them, Richie and Carey are responsible for dozens of number one hits and have sold more than 300 million albums around the world.

Richie is that rare artist honored with an Oscar, a Golden Globe and five Grammy's while Carey is also one of the most honored artists of her time. She's won a number of Grammy's, 21 American Music Awards and was Billboard's "Artist of the Decade" Award.
