NOPD investigates four carjackings in 24 hours

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

New Orleans are investigating four carjackings in less than 24 hours.

The first incident happened at South Robertson and Second streets just after noon on Monday.

Initial police reports indicate a man was parking his car when three other men, one armed with a gun, ordered him out of his vehicle.

About two hours later another man was carjacked near the intersection at Lesseps and Marais streets.

The victim got into his car when three men opened his door and ordered him out.

Then around 8 p.m. a woman was carjacked in the 2700 block of Clover Street.

Then, just after 11 p.m., a man was carjacked in the 11000 block of Old Spanish Trail.
