NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Owner of Radikal Fitnezz, Rob Jason focuses on the upper body in this segment of Workout Wednesday.
Tire Chest Press: Both partners should be in a slightly squatted position. One will take the lead in pushing the tire to the other partner using the lowest part of the palms of your hands. Each should take turns pushing the tire back and forth. This exercise builds and tones your pectorals and triceps for good conditioning. This can be done for 30 to 45 seconds.
Bent over log rows: Slightly bend your knees with a slight lean forward with back straight for this exercise. Fully extend arms down toward your knees as you row up and down keeping the elbows close to the body and ribs. This is a great back exercise building the lat, rhomboid, bicep, and rear deltoids muscles. Try three to five sets of 10 to 15 reps.
Twinkle toe squat jumps: Standing with feet shoulder width apart, squat low as you can jumping up touching both feet together and returning to the initial position. Try this exercise for about 30 to 45 seconds. This is an overall body conditioning exercise working the total body.
