NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Another round of dense fog is likely tonight. It will continue to be unseasonably warm for most of this week. Rain chances will be low through Wednesday with just a few stray showers here and there.
A cold front will finally approach with a few more showers on Thursday. A brief cool down is expected on Friday before south winds bring warmth and humidity back for the New Year Holiday.
It's too early to say exactly how New Year's Eve will shape up as yet another disturbance moves across the area. As of today, the timing would bring the best storm chances into the area on New Year's Day leaving New Year's Eve on the drier side. Stay tuned for updates.
