METAIRIE, LA (WVUE) - The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying a man sought in connection with a Metairie shooting and an aggravated burglary on March 5.
The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. in the 400 block of Oaklawn Drive.
According to deputies, a 29-year-old man got out of his car to visit a friend, when he noticed three suspicious males walking toward his friend's house. The victim knocked on the door to warn his friend, but the masked gunmen forced their way inside.
The victim tried to run away but was shot multiple times.
The suspects then held the victim's friend and two other men at gunpoint, ordering them to kneel and empty their pockets. A knock at the door scared the gunmen, and they fled out the back door. The suspects were wearing dark-colored hoodies and a cloth mask over their faces.
The victims could identify two of the suspects as a black male and a white male.
Anyone who can identify the subject in the surveillance photo is asked to contact the JPSO Investigative Bureau at (504) 364-5300.
