NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Cloudy and grey still, but the rain is ending. It's much cooler this Sunday afternoon with the lack of sunshine and chillier air pushing in behind the front. Another stronger cold front moves in for Monday.
Canadian air will surge across the area next week. That means sunshine, dry conditions, and below normal temperatures are likely. Highs will be in the 50s and 60s with lows in the 30s and 40s. Right now a freeze isn't likely on the North Shore but it could get close by next Wednesday morning.
