(WVUE) - To start the new week, rain chances return briefly as a Gulf low passes to the south and a strong cold front arrives tonight.
There will be spotty showers during the day, then the cold front moves through tonight, allowing Canadian air to surge into the region.
The cold high pressure will bring sunshine, dry conditions, and below normal temperatures.
Highs will be in the 50s and 60s with lows in the 30s and 40s.
Right now a freeze isn't likely on the north shore.
