NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

New Orleans police are asking for help identifying a couple accused of using a stolen credit card on March 7.

Police say the pair used the victim’s credit card to buy more than $1,200 worth of items from a Walmart in 8900 block of Veterans Boulevard around 3:17 p.m.

The victim told police she never lost her credit card. However, the card the couple used had the same numbers as one of the victim’s cards. Investigators said they are trying to figure out how the victim’s credit card number was placed on another card.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Second District Detectives at (504) 658-6020 or (504) 658-6494. Citizens can also call Crimestoppers to report a crime at (504) 822-1111.
