ST. CHARLES PARISH, LA (WVUE) -

The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office asked for help finding Jerrian James Brown.

Deputies say Brown is wanted for an attempted aggravated arson that happened on March 14.

Investigators say the owner of an apartment complex in Hahnville called them after noticing a strong odor of gasoline near the exterior wall of the apartment complex on Elm Street. The Sheriff’s Office says video surveillance of the complex captured Brown pouring the contents of a gasoline can along the wall of the duplex. The owner told investigators that Brown had recently been evicted from the complex.

Brown is 27 years old, and deputies believe he may be living on Trailsway Drive in Hahnville. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Detective Jody Weems at (985) 783-1135.
