METAIRIE, LA (WVUE) - The Jefferson Parish SWAT backed up deputies serving a "high-risk" warrant on a suspect wanted for first-degree rape.
The warrant was served in the 100 block of North Sibley Street in Metairie.
The SWAT team searched the inside the home but were unable to find the wanted suspect, 28 year-old Brandon Jenkins.
Jenkins is wanted on a charge of first-degree rape stemming from an incident that occurred this morning in Metairie.
Jenkins has a prior criminal history with arrest for burglary, resisting arrest, simple escape, assault and numerous traffic charges.
