DESTREHAN, LA (WVUE) -

A Destrehan man was found shot to death in an apartment after an argument, according to initial St. Charles Sheriff’s Department reports.

Just after 5 p.m. Thursday, deputies responded to a call in the 3700 block of Tara Drive in Destrehan.

When they arrived, they found 25-year-old Weston Keller lying on the floor with a gunshot wound.

Deputies detained a suspect, who was also inside the apartment when they arrived.

An EMS crew worked to revive the man, but he died at the scene.

Investigators learned Keller was involved in an argument with a 68-year-old man who also lived in the apartment.

During the argument, the man got a gun and shot Keller once.

The shooting remains under investigation.
