NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - A warm and dry weekend is ahead. There should be no problems for the Italian American Marching Club Parade or any other outdoor activity.
There's a chance for patchy fog tomorrow morning and off and on into next week but it doesn't look particularly dense.
A weak cold front will wash out across the area on Saturday. There could be a couple of sprinkles but that's about it. Fresh easterly winds will drop temperatures about five degrees on Sunday but they will still be well into the 70s.
Next will feature dry weather with lots of very warm sun. Temperatures could approach record levels in the lower 80s with a few mid-80s not out of the question. Winds will increase by the end of the week as a storm develops to our west.
Our next chance for rain probably doesn't arrive until next Friday evening or night possibly into early Saturday.
