NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Saturday night turned out great for the Italian American Marching Club Parade. Mostly dry conditions and warm temperatures will continue right into Super Sunday as the Mardi Gras Indians come out and the Irish-Italian Parade in Metairie.
Some patchy fog may develop overnight. A weak cold front pushed in on Saturday and washed out across the area. Expect about a five degree drop in temperatures on Sunday, but it will still be well into the 70's.
Next week, dry weather with lots of very warm sun will dominate. Most areas will have temperatures in the lower 80's with a few mid 80's possible. The winds will increase by the end of the week as a storm develops to our west.
Our next chance for rain probably doesn't arrive until next Friday evening or night possibly into early Saturday.
