(WVUE) - A few patches of fog developed in areas near water Monday morning, but after that clears, most will see a sunny day.
Highs will reach the low 80s again this afternoon. Overnight, temperatures will only fall to the low 60s on both sides of Lake Pontchartrain.
Patchy fog can be expected Tuesday morning and the next several mornings.
After the fog clears, mostly sunny skies and warm temperatures, in the low 80s each afternoon, can be expected for the rest of the week.
A mix of sun and clouds is possible Friday with a chance for a stray shower. The chance increases for Saturday as a cold front approaches the area.
While it won't be a dramatic cooldown, it may help knock highs back to the 70s for a day or two.
