Family Dollar Store burglar sought

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

Investigators say a man used a brick to break the glass and get inside the Family Dollar Store in the 2100 block of South Claiborne Avenue. 

A surveillance image shows the man burglarizing the business at 1:22 a.m. on February 26. 

The NOPD says the burglar went behind the counter,tried to open the safe and then eventually fled the store. 

Investigators say anyone with information that could help identify the suspect should contact the Sixth District Investigative Division at 504-658-6060 or call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.
