(WVUE) - A dense fog advisory is in effect through 10 a.m. for southeast Louisiana and coastal Mississippi. Fog will be likely the next couple of mornings with gradually clearing skies around noon.
Spring has just begun, but it will feel like late Spring around here over the next few days. Temperatures will be well above our average of 73 degrees. In fact, most areas will be at least 80 with some reaching the mid-80s Tuesday and Wednesday.
A weak cold front will approach the area Saturday. As of now, it appears most of the energy will pass well to the north, so rain chances don't look particularly high. The best chance for showers or a spotty storm will be Saturday.
The cool air will miss the area, so that means more highs around the 80-degree mark for Sunday and into early next week.
