City announces bike share community workshops

The City of New Orleans, in conjunction with Social Bicycles Inc. (SoBi), announced today it will hold six community workshops to collect resident feedback on where to place the initial 70 bike stations before the fall 2017 launch of the City's bike share program. Each workshop will focus on specific neighborhoods within the initial service area. City leaders invite residents to attend a workshop near where they live or work to provide input. 

The workshops will be held at the following locations:
Marigny, Bywater, St. Roch:

City leaders say New Orleans has been growing rapidly as a bicycling city. The city was recognized as a bicycle-friendly community in the fall of 2014 by the League of American Bicyclists.
