Saints re-sign Darryl Tapp

The Saints are bringing back another one of their own. The team has signed defensive end Darryl Tapp to a new contract. Length and financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. 

Tapp is an 11-year veteran who joined the Saints last season and played in all 16 games. He finished the year with 17 tackles and 0.5 sacks. Tapp is the ninth in-house free agent the team has brought back for 2017.

    Today's work was much lighter between the Saints and Chargers was much lighter. They wore no pads only shells and helmets, and they only practiced two hours instead of two and a half like Thursday.
