Local man win 2017 Stella Shout Contest

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

Dozens flocked to Jackson Square, Sunday, to witness the 2017 Stella Shout Contest, which was part of the 31st Annual Tennessee Williams Literary Festival. 

While several men and women competed, it was a local who took home the top prize. River Ridge resident Mark Gambino won 1st place while Knox Kelly won second and fellow New Orlenian Eden Gass won third. 

The contest consisted of 25 participants who were given three chances to give their best STELLAAAA shout.
