NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - We have another 48 hours of sunny and warm weather. Highs will be well into the 80's on Tuesday and Wednesday. Some areas could flirt with record high temperatures.
A major change arrives on Thursday as low pressure moves out of the plains. There is a good chance for storms and some of these may be strong to severe. Stay tuned for further updates over the next 48 hours.
Cooler, drier and less humid weather returns for Friday and Saturday.
Yet another area of low pressure could arrive as soon as Sunday bringing another storm chance. The storms may linger into Monday of next week as well.
