NOPD T.I.G.E.R unit arrest two for Algiers armed robbery

ALGIERS, LA (WVUE) -

NOPD's T.I.G.E.R unit make two more arrests in the July 12, attempted armed robbery of the Lakeview Harbor restaurant on Harrison avenue.

Ahmad “Tank” Anderson, 19, was arrested at the Lakeview Harbor restaurant on March 13, 2017. He was is a cook there and was working in the kitchen on the night of the robbery. Once in custody, he confessed to being involved in the robbery.

Robert Torregano, 25 was identified as the driver of the getaway vehicle used in the robbery.
TIGER Unit investigators tracked Torregano to a house on Tullis Drive in Algiers, but found that Torregano had fled the state.U.S. Marshals later found and arrested him in Port Arthur Texas.

Both Anderson and Torregano have been charged with attempted armed robbery.
