NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The next couple of days will be dry, sunny, and warm.
Major changes are on tap for Sunday as storms could develop very rapidly. A strong area of low pressure will move out of Texas during the day and storms will likely move in from the west by afternoon. This storm is stronger and further south than the one on Thursday.
Chief Meteorologist David Bernard says the threat for more significant severe weather could be higher. Pay close attention to the forecast over the next 48 hours as details become more clear.
Next week promises to start warm and dry followed by a real cold front by the end of the week bringing a true spring feel.
